A road bike for cobblestones, pothole tracks and bumpy dirt roads, with a very sturdy frame, but agile and nimble to ride. If you need a fast bike for the way to work, the Midnight Special by Surly is also a good choice. 12mm thru axles and flatmount brakes are modern road bike standard. Tire widths of up to 57 mm (with 27.5″ wheels) are usually more familiar from mountain bikes. Surly has succeeded in creating this symbiosis. The frame has options for mounting racks and mudguards, so it works as a fast touring bike. The 44mm head tube allows the use of modern carbon forks if you want to save weight. We build this frame with the equipment of your choice.
